a faint buzz and the colour of honey,
he swirled around my head,
his body oblivious to gravity.
he passed me once,he passed me twice.
he never really noticed me.
yet my body tingled with his presence,
my eyes followed his humming movement.
he didn't notice me,
but my eyes were all over him.
he gently placed himself on the fire sign,
his energy focused on one point,
his invisible face seemed to light up,
as he attempted to read.
yes he wanted to read,
and why shouldn't he?
his eyes were glued to the fire sign,
as his gentle feet touched it.
ever so lightly he crawled over it.
he didn't utter a word,
nor notice the room full of people.
he tried to read,
then gave up and flew out the window.
maybe he'll come back,
come back to read.
or perhaps he'd rather discover,
that flowery world out there.
he swirled around my head,
his body oblivious to gravity.
he passed me once,he passed me twice.
he never really noticed me.
yet my body tingled with his presence,
my eyes followed his humming movement.
he didn't notice me,
but my eyes were all over him.
he gently placed himself on the fire sign,
